Exam Time
The sun always seems to shine at exam time for students, and while sunshine does help a little in regards to a reduction of anxiety, the stress of exams can lead to an increase of anxiety sufferers. This time of year I tend to see an increase in young people who are facing into exams. The really great news is that it usually only takes one session to re-calibrate those stress levels. It is very important that we lower those stress levels for exams, because when we are in high stress mode, our fight or flight mechanism fires up, and one of the effects of this, is a shut down of our memory function. So the students ability to re-call information is adversely affected. There are also specific techniques that we teach students that enhance their re-call ability, and these again are taught during the stress reduction session. So please if you know of anyone
