Exam Time A busy time for all of us as we prepare our students for their final exams, hard to believe that our third year of graduates are completing their studies. Well done and sincere thank you to the hundreds of visitors, exhibitors and speakers who came to the Mind Ur Health Expo, it was a fantastic success. The photos are wow-who would think that the venue is usually a night club!! The pics are on Mind Ur Health facebook page. The effort that you exhibitors went to, was spectacular, and all our guests commented on how welcoming the entire place was. As for our lecturers, the feedback was superb, know, that you all made a massive difference in hundreds of lives last Sunday, by sharing your expertise. Looking forward to the next one already! We have a very exciting line of courses over the next few weeks, from our half day events, Chakra Matrix, Herbalism, Menopause-Myth or Reality, and NLP to our highly acclaimed weekend of Aromatherapy, and the two day Suicide Assist Internationally recognised qualification, all of which are open to the generally public.

Mind Ur Health Exhibition We are delighted to be sponsoring the Mind Ur Health Expo, on Sunday week the 23rd Feb, and it is shaping up to be a fantastic event. All the proceeds are going to the very worthy Limerick Marine Search & Rescue Services, which is run entirely by volunteers, they do not receive funding, which is quite extraordinary considering that the Gardai regularly use their services for search & rescue operations. At any rate at another level this event is a fantastic educational opportunity for the general public, and people interested in volunteering in the field of mental wellness, for the first time to access all these wonderful services at a one stop venue. While the focus of the event is Health & Wellness there is a strong emphasis on mental health-which we at HCE are very passionate about. What a start! I hope that all of you have had a marvellous Christmas, and what a start to 2014, we had a wonderful New Years Eve in Limerick with the launch of City of Culture, to see the city jammed with people was heart warming, and here’s to a year where we  re-discover and bring life back into our city. There is definitely a feeling that major positive change will be with us soon- bring it on-we have all had enough of the negativity. We should remember that quantum physics has proven that we create our reality according to the thoughts we have-so it is imperative that no matter what our “reality” may be showing us, that we rest in thoughts and visions of positivity. As Deepak Chopra says, miracles happen every day- when we see shooting stars they seem magical, but the streak across the sky all the time, we just don’t notice them in the sunlight, and just like shooting stars- miracles streak across our consciousness every day. Miracles or synchronicities (synchronised coincidences), are happening in our lives many times each day, but we are so busy we usually only notice the big ones. If you have seen the movie sliding doors, this really emphasises how the little coincidences/choices we make, in fact, chart our destiny. Let me share a recent personal experience with you-my husband recently decided to open a new restaurant and I was drafted in to help with interior design. Launch of Exciting New Program If my client demographic are anything to go by- I’m guessing that you know at least one person who is suffering with Panic Attacks and/or Anxiety? At last I am able to share a fantastic program that will stop a Panic Attack in less than three seconds, anywhere, anytime, FOREVER. Exciting Events With the school routines now firmly established, its the perfect time for Mom’s to consider how to get maximum value for their time while the children are kept busy with activities. A recurring theme that I see is that Irish Mom’s devote ALL their time to their children and children’s activities, and while commitment to our children is of great importance in terms of their development, it is VITAL that we do not lose ourselves in the role. This is a tragedy on many counts, the obvious one being that when the children grow up and leave-and they all will!-then Mom is left with no sense of purpose of who she really is. More importantly ask any Mom- of girls in particular -this question-would you want your daughter to sacrifice her interests/hobbies/dreams to her children? Back to School That time of year when we all get busy again, after slowing things down a bit for the summer. Im very grateful for the superb rest that the good weather encouraged us all to take, because it’s all hands on deck now. It looks like we are going to be oversubscribed for some of our courses this year, which it a great issue to deal with! For those of you, who were considering enrolling, please do let us know as soon as possible.
