Summer time!
But the living ain’t easy –yet! But we are having lots of fun-all in the name of work!
Speaking of fun-sincere thank you to all of you who attended our Holistic Centre of Excellence Open night last Wed, as always, we had a very sociable evening, and thank you to the artistic creativity of chef Tom Sparling-he never fails to impress us. We did forget one important detail though, we were to tell those of you who attended that there is an special early bird offer available to you if you book the course before the end of May, so please do get in touch via email or call
061-381947, in these financially challenging times, it’s especially important to make the most of discounts. For any of you who couldn’t make the open night, but would like to have the information that we shared, please get in touch with us.
This coming weekend we are delighted to welcome Claire O’Grady who will be teaching our reflexologists, cancer care for clients. There is one place left if any of you reflexologists would like to join us on Sat 11th and Sun 12th at the Belgian Cottage in Glenstal.
Thur 16th May we have an introductory class on Cranio Sacral therapy, this is open to the public, so again if you would like to join us, just get in touch.
Our students have their heads in the books, as they get ready for their final exams, it’s hard to believe that the year is almost over-but you know what they say, time flies when you are having fun! Having said that-this year isn’t over but already we are busy taking bookings and co-ordinating the 26 expert teachers that will be teaching on our full time course again next year. Now that the “word” is out about the specialised training at the only Holistic Centre of Excellence in Ireland, its seems we will have our quota of 14 full time students filled before summer! Our back to school date is Sept 24th for those of you enrolling.
Outreach update-thanks again to the therapist’s who gave up their time last week, to treat the volunteers and staff of the Rape Crisis Centre, it’s always great to be able to look after the care-givers. After another hectic year of Outreach events, where we have now donated in excess of €150,000, in free educational lectures and treatments. We look forward to a well deserved summer break after our final event at the annual Pink Ribbon Run in Killaloe on June 9th. Heartfelt thank you to the committed graduate therapists and tutors of HCE who make it so easy for us to provide this service. Your professionalism and expertise are having a massive impact on the health of hundreds. If you are involved with a charity organisation and would like to benefit from our Outreach program, please let us know asap, as the Outreach timetable books up almost a year in advance, and we hate to say no!
Another interesting concept that has developed, is the Holistic House party-our professional therapists are grouping together to go to a host’s house, where they set up all the equipment, and the host’s guests take turn in having their treatment of choice. The feedback from the clients is fantastic, talk about a party that you will never forget! If you are interested in hosting a party, give us a call, and we will set the wheels in motion for you.
This is what I love about this work, there are always exciting new developments,
Till next time I wish you abundant health and happiness
