Holiday Time-Yippee! You can look forward to a temporary reprieve from my ramblings as I take off on our family, I hope you enjoy it, because Im pretty sure to come back all guns blazing as we face into one of our most action packed Autumns ever. Don’t forget the final date for the early bird offer on the Integrated Animal Healthcare and the Animal Talk 8A course is the end of July. The venue has been set for Dundalk and it sounds perfect . Congratulations to the candidates who were successful with their interview, last week for their places on the full-time Diploma in Holistic Healthcare, at the Holistic Centre of Excellence, the next interview date has been set for Wednesday 10th Aug, for the final few remaining places, so please don’t delay if you wish to apply, as the course has almost filled.

Sincere thank you to the dedicated girls who braved the mud-bath that was the Charleville show this Saturday, we who manned the information stand on Sunday didn’t realise how lucky we were, as the sun shone brightly, as the throngs of people came into the marquee where we were-just to cool off! A very successful day again, as people showed great interest in the Holistic Centre of Excellence and our training programms. Mind you it was so busy that even I struggled to keep talking-not something I generally suffer from!!!! So thanks to all those who indulged us in talking about our passion. We had a great laugh too, like the time I got on the bed and Michelle Moynihan gave me a Reiki treatment, I was so relaxed I didn’t hear as one of the crowd of visitors who gathered to watch- offered to do mouth-to-mouth recus. on me-another opportunity missed!!!! Summer! Our only consolation for the bad weather is, that we are so busy, at least we aren’t missing it! There is no summer wind down for us yet, as each week is action packed. The Holistic Centre of Excellence is proving to be very exciting and each day we seem to add more unique components. That’s the fun of creating something new, we get to make it up as we go-literally. The Associates are constantly come up with new ideas to add to what is already an extraordinary and unique course. The interview process starts the first week in July, so if you are interested in attending this years course which starts on the 12th Sept, please contact us asap. Blog 13th June 2011 What an inspirational weekend! Huge thank you to Alessandra for another spectacular weekend, the participants of this Enhance Your Life training really stepped up the plate, as we laughed, cried, and broke through many personal barriers so that we could become the creators of our dreams. Apologies! It’s been too long since Ive updated you, thankfully, this is due to some many exciting things happening-where should I begin? A BIG THANK YOU- to the 100+ who came to our 1st Open Night for the Holistic Centre of Excellence, we had a super night, and what an attentive audience you were, there wasn’t a peep while I gave the Holistic Healthcare for the 21st Century presentation, or indeed while Diane Hannagen gave the presentation about our new Centre. Afterwards it turned into a very social evening as our 11 Associates and most of the audience stayed for light refreshements. It was a great opportunity for many of us to put faces to names. On Saturday - 5 of our associates provided an Outreach Program to 40 participants of the Pink Ribbon Walk in Killaloe, again a resounding success, congrats to Nicola Wood and her team of organisers. Blog 9th May 2011 Ask & you shall receive! Yet again I have first hand experience of this law in action. Recently I have been well aware that although I teach Holistic Healthcare-ie. Mind Body Spirit balance-and daily I help myself & lots of clients with Mental, Emotional & Spiritual issues-alas the Body aspect I have been neglecting. My nutrition plan is non-existant as I grab anything in view in a hurry to ward off the hunger/low sugar level headache and eat it as I move to the next task! So I have been “asking” for a solution-and hey presto-enter Moria Geary and the Power Juicing Day-we had a super day this Saturday, and I truly feel I have found the solution to my nutrition dilemna. I arrived home armed with my new juicer-which I love-purely because I can throw a whole apple and most other veg/fruits without have to chop or peel. My other

Easter Bunny! I trust that you have had your fill of Easter Eggs, and with the sun-loungers being dusted off, the effects will have been evident!!! Our Easter has been busy, 9 of us had a most enjoyable day Easter Saturday in Glenstal, as we presented our Holistic Healthcare for the 21st century lecture, and met some fabulous people who were attending the Easter retreat. It was absolutely idyllic there in the sunshine. This Bank holiday Sunday had us at the Integrated Health Expo in the Lakeside Hotel in Kilaloe, perhaps we meet you there? Dalai Lama Rocks!! If only we could bottle his laugh, absolutely infectious. What a great way to a spend a morning, last Thur in UL was fantastic, the organisation was superb, the entertainment great and the simple wisdom spoken by the man himself, impacted on all of us. From our perspective as Holistic Centre of Excellence, it was very exciting to hear him say, 1- that Holistic is the way to go, 2-we must do scientific research into the emotional impact on our bodies 3-that compassion must be taught within education-simply through smiling, and that mindfulness should be part of the curriculum 4-that our mental health should get more consideration, all us associates felt like jumping up to shout-we teach people that, and that, and that!!! He also alluded to the changes that are already happening in that direction, which again we in the field are very aware and excited about-for sure there just won’t

April already!! Wow, how did that happen, but isn’t it great to see the bright evenings again? Hope all you mothers were shown the ultimate appreciation this weekend for your privileged yet challenging work! Thank you to the 11 therapists who gave willing of your time this week, as we donated in excess of 65 treatments to the mothers of Moyross & Ballynanty, again all of us feel so privileged to be able to make a difference for others, and we have a great time too-how could we possibly call this work?-that’s one of those cosmic jokes-when you find your passion, it is effortless to perform, and yet we can call it a job!!!!
