The Girl Effect All of you who know me, will be well aware of the passion I feel towards the reversal of the historical oppression of females, and yet on the other hand Im not wanting to burn my bra-especially my new super-push-up one!! Those of you in the know will realise that the change this planet is going through right now is very dependent on a re-balancing of the male/female energy balance, you can witness this every day with the rise of females in traditional “male only” areas. A big thank you to Ballyhoura Developments Ltd, for inviting me to the beautiful Grove Health Spa in Shanballymore, Mallow, to give a talk on Holistic Health for the 21st Century last Wednesday.  Jacqueline O’Farrell extended a heartfelt Irish welcome to us with her fantastic facilities, not to mention the food!! The spa is fab and of course I had to check out the massage-now, now-it’s all in the line of duty and someone has to do it!!! My therapist Ber has a wonderful pair of hands, and I certainly was very relaxed going into the lecture. Did you hear Michael Flatley talk about how he overcame his mysterious virus that had him unable to leave his house for 6months-on the Late Late Show he spoke of a Reiki Healer that travels with him, and how the body can heal itself if we let it. Well, maybe for the kids-Im very happy to say that there's no time for holidays for me at the moment, it's such an exciting time to work in this field. The buzz each client brings is addictive! Some of the wow's from last week, a client with an itchy rash for 6 months, itch gone after 1 treament, another with mystery allergies -symptoms gone, another with specific anxiety-gone. Did I ever say how much I love my job!!! Naturally there's other work to done with our courses coming up-Indian Head, Hot Stone, Hopi, so that'll keep me quiet for a while-although maybe not! There's five more projects that Im very excited about but I'll have to contain myself until they're finalised before I can share them with you-so literally watch this space! What a hetic weekend it has been-just back from the Bodytalk European Conference in Munich, where we had updates from various speakers, re developments in science, bodytalk and the legal status of holistic medicine. The highlight speaker for me was DR SOREN VENTEGODT, a Danish Dr, who has written over 200 scientic papers and several books, he explained to us how holistic medicine works from a scientific perspective. One of his patients he healed of lymphatic cancer without drugs, and this patient went on national tv to tell his story. His advice to all of us therapists, is FEEL, UNDERSTAND, and LET GO. Wow, what a great seminar!                      In 3 hrs Gregg gave us a comprehensive scientific overview of where the world is going! Did you know that the magnetic field of earth peaked dramatically at 9.15 on the morning of 9/11? Satallite pictures chart that when large numbers of humans have an emotional experience the magnetic field of the world changes-isnt that amazing? A BIG thank you to the seven therapists who gave up their Sunday afternoon to work on our Charity event yesterday, and boy did ye work! Congratulations for providing such a professional service in what at times were challenging conditions!! The impact was tremendous for the clients and the feedback was superb, and I know that each of you found it an incredibly rewarding day's work, not to mention the laughs they gave us! Congrats to the our Anatomy & Physiology students who "survived" their 3 hour exam last Friday, Im guessing there was lots of celebrating this weekend. Did a bit myself-felt fantastic after the 6 mastership attunements, so at the last minute put a request to the universe for 2 tics to Michael Buble, and not alone did they come up trumps but they were great seats! He is a great entertainer and had the entire Aviva stadium dancing. Drove home afterwards so I was too tired to get to the Murroe market on Sunday morning, ordered my veg by proxy! opps! I made a mistake in the last update, Gregg Braden is on Tue 5th Oct not the 9th! sorry! We have a crew of around 14 of us going, it'll be a great day out. This Sunday was the first of our new local Murroe Farmer's market, and we were a bit nervous when we woke up to all the rain, but it was still a resounding success, thank you to all those who braved the rain, and here's to it's continued success. We had 15 stands with home baking, live chickens, a wood carver, jewelery, a pet shop, a stand which among other things sold all we need to grow that magicaly wheatgrass and many fruit and vegetable sellers, in fact one stand sold out early so he popped back home to pull some more carrotts!!! How fresh is that! I'm looking forward to working with this year's Reiki Mastership class which starts
