Blog 2nd April 2012
Where to begin? Wow, what an exceptional month March has been-we have been on tour! We had a super day out in Dublin, at the ESB conference, where Carolyn Heagney gave the best 5 min presentation on Reiki, and then we went on to deliver over 50 treatments to the middle and top management of ESB, all of whom-without exception loved it.
We thoroughly enjoyed treating the attendants at UL for the Women’s Day conference, again gratefully receiving tremendous feedback. It is the perfect combination to be receiving a treatment whilst attending the conference!
Rathfreda House in Newcastle West was another fantastic day for us, as we treated both staff and some of the residents who suffer with permanent brain damage. Again we thank Mary Angela for her wonderful hospitality.
The Limerick Lifelong Learning festival seems to have been a very successful week, congrats to all involved, we certainly enjoyed contributing with our Holistic Healthcare for the 21st century lecture followed by treatments for all who attended. Thank you to Rhona and LIT for your hospitality.
Closer to home this month, thanks to the HSE staff who paid us a visit at our school on the grounds of Glenstal and we are pleased to hear that you found our lecture inspiring and that your treatments went down a treat.
Well done to our students who “came out” as the professional therapists they now are, at the Mind Body Spirit Expo, the standard was phenomenal-you have certainly raised the bar for next year’s students!
Our first Open Night of 2012 was a tremendous success, thank you to our audience who paid us such wonderful attention and compliments, and a special thank you-once again- to Tom Sparling the chef at Crokers who always seems to raise the standard no matter how many times he looks after our special events!
And if you are not exhausted with all that, I would like to share with you a fantastic course which we did this month, we were honoured to have Catherine McGeechy come and share her infinite wisdom with us, via her Flow-State Spirituality course, we would all highly recommend it, as a means to raise your consciousness.
Diane Hannagen, has started her introduction to Aromatherapy course, and will be delivering the Shirodhara training when we return after the Easter break.
With all this action, is astounds me that I still get time to enjoy my private clients, which is like desert to me because perhaps I have mentioned before that I LOVE my job!!!!
Wishing you a happy Easter and here’s hoping that the wonderful sunshine we had recently will return soon.
